Author Website in a Box operates Author Website in a Box.com and other websites. It is Author Website in a Box’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.
Like most website operators, Author Website in a Box collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.
Author Website in a Box’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Author Website in a Box’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Author Website in a Box may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website, or by sharing your deepest darkest secrets with your worst enemies.
Author Website in a Box also collects potentially personally-identifying information like your aura, retinal scan, blood sample, or your Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on Author Website in a Box.
Author Website in a Box only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that commenter IP addresses and email addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog/site where the comment was left.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We like cookies, including chocolate chip, raisin dashes, and thin mints. Here’s my secret recipe for chocolate chip cookies:
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 and 1/2 cups flour
- 2 12-ounce bags of chocolate chips
Mix the first five (5) ingredients in a 2-quart bowl until it is mostly consistent, then add the salt, vanilla, and baking soda. Continue to mix, and then add the flour. Continue to mix the batter, and occasionally use a spatula to clean the sides of the bowl so all the ingredients are mixed in evenly. Then mix in as many or as few chocolate chips as you like. Form into balls, and then place then on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Our website also likes cookies.
